ITALY’S PADOVAN FORMS SPANISH ALLIANCE
Italian and Spanish independents Studio Legale Padovan and Antonio Viñal & Co Abogados have entered into a Iberian-Italian co-operation agreement.

The two firms officially established the relationship today (2 October). Padovan focuses on emerging markets and in addition to its three Italian bases it has offices in New Delhi and Istanbul. Antonio Viñal has branches in Madrid, Vigo and Lisbon. The new desk will offer Italian and European businesses the chance to draw on Iberian law expertise.

“I am proud of this new desk, which fits well with our strategy of serving Italian business abroad,” says Marco Padovan, founder of the Italian firm. “The co-operation with Antonio Viñal & Co. Abogados will allow us to offer our clients a strong and competent advice in the Iberian market, as it offers a wide range of possibilities in terms of location, incentives, tax schemes and work regulations.”

The deal is the second co-operation agreement for Padovan in the last few months. In July, the firm entered into a pact with Middle East firm MiO to provide coverage in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
