Studio Legale Padovan, an Italian law firm that specialises on emerging markets, has entered into a collobartion agreement with Middle East firm MiO.

 

The deal give Padovan coverage in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. MiO, which is led by Mohammed Issa Odeh, was founded in 1985 and will work closely with a new Gulf desk for Padovan, which is to be headed by partner Daniele Carminati. .

 

The agreement is the third alliance for the nine-partner Italian firm, which also has co-operation relationships with Indian firm Bhasin & Co and Turkish practice Gür Law Firm. Padovan has targeted projects work, mainly power plants, and advisied on deals in places such as Brazil, Ethiopia, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Bulgaria.
