Lateral partner movements in Paris rose by 41% in the first semester of 2010 compared with the corresponding period last year, according to recent data released by consultants Day One.
A total of 114 partners moved law firms in the French capital – 74 of those did so in the first three months of the year alone. That figure represents the highest total for five years. The practices areas most affected were M&A and real estate.
