US firm Howrey has announced that it will open a small office in Düsseldorf in September 2010, expanding to the most important venue for patent litigation in Germany and Europe. The Düsseldorf office will be headed by Christoph Lenz (pictured)currenly at Bardehle Pagenberg. Lenz will work closely with the Howrey's Munich office together with Joachim Feldges, managing partner of Howrey’s Munich office and co-chair of Howrey’s intellectual property practice.
